Location of Casa de Sueno
Casa de Sueno is in a small, 12-unit complex named Rosa Blanca in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It's located close to 5th Avenue at the very northern edge of Playacar Phase 2, a secure, elegant gated neighborhood on the south end of Playa del Carmen. As a reference, this is the end of 5th Avenue near the ferry pier to Cozumel.
Our condo is an easy walking distance to everything in Playa - unlike many other vacation rentals in Playacar. The neighborhoods of Playacar Phases 1 and 2 are really large - and most condos are located on the other side of the golf course with a 30 minute or longer walk to town. Not us! We are actually just around the corner from 5th Avenue and all the restaurants, shopping, and best beaches. We seldom use taxis, but they are cheap and plentiful when we decide to pamper ourselves (late at night, arms full of groceries, etc). We are also within walking distance from the main bus terminal in Playa, which can be used for airport transportation or tours to nearby Tulum, Akumal, Cancun, etc. We have never needed a car with all this great transportation and activities close by.
For those familiar with the area, our condo is located just after passing through the main guard gate for Playacar Phase 2 at the end of 10th Avenue. After passing through this gate, just take a right at the circle and you are now on our street! Just 2 blocks down and you will arrive at Casa de Sueno. It takes us 4.5 leisurely minutes to walk down the cobblestone street to the guard gate from the condo, and another 3 minutes to 5th Avenue and the Cozumel pier. Perfectly located for quiet and security, yet close to all the action!
